Land Grid Tag Fun Run
A breif description
Equipment
Grid section from NY aprox. 4x8 blocks
Either 2 teams of 3 or 4 players or 4 teams of 3 or 4 players
brightly colored tape, 4 colors
sharpie markers, 1 color per player
cellphone or timer watch
Rules
Each team starts in opposite corners if the chosen field
a time limit is decided (prob. 30 minutes is good)
With the tape, players attempt to tag as many intersections as possible.
An intersection is tagged by a member when he places tape on the intersection and writes the time tagged on that tape.
A person can only tag one corner of each intersection. In order for a team to gain complete control of a corner, three independent team members must tag three corners of an intersection.
One point is awarded to the team in control of the intersection. The team with the most points wins.
If there is a tie on the intersection. Ie no one holds a majority of markers on the intersection, no team is awarded a point.
If a member of a different team approaches an intersection which they have no possibility of winning for their own team, that member is out and must return to the center and hopefully cry.
When the time limit is over all the groups meet back in the center and go through the grid taking down the tape and recording the information.
